The Left Foot receives grant from the U.S. Embassy in Madagascar
The Left Foot received a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Madagascar to develop the civic engagement and participation skills of young people and their families in the Commune of Imerinatsiatosika. This town has an important connection to the U.S. because it hosted a NASA satellite tracking station in the 1970s.
Our program will begin in early 2018 with a 5-day workshop in Madagascar and we are now actively recruiting two American workshop leaders. If you know people who can motivate and inspire youth for civic action, please get them in contact with us through this link.
